Some of the station buses included in these models do not represent real buses, but are necessary for modelling purposes. Many of these 'dummy' buses are not referred to in the Transmission Forecast Statement 2006-2012. In addition, because the length of bus names in PSS/E™ is limited, bus names in these data files may not coincide with names used in the Transmission Forecast Statement 2006-2012. Click here to view a list model bus names and corresponding actual bus names.
The Northern Ireland network is not represented in these model files, other than the interconnection points. Please refer to NIE's most recent Seven Year Transmission Statement for information on its network.
In the winter peak 2012 model file 'dummy' generators have been included at the Northern Ireland interconnection points, Tandragee 275 kV station (bus 90020) and Tyrone 400 kV station (bus 90340), to represent the power transfer from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland assumed in this case.
