SEM Transmission Loss Adjustment Factors – Archive

2012-2013 Draft Transmission Loss Adjustment Factors (TLAF)

The System Operators on the island of Ireland published a set of TLAFs on July 2nd 2012, which was based on the approved TLAF methodology (SEM-12-049). Since that date a number of outside factors have changed including the assumed capacity for the Moyle Interconnector and assumptions around the Carbon Price Floor in Great Britain. A revised set of TLAFs was published on July 31st 2012. During the validation process for the Final Set of TLAFs, an error was identified which impacted on the December Night TLAFs only. The values published for December Night were uncompressed rather than being compressed. As a result, the set of TLAFs being forwarded for approval is identical to the July 31st 2012 set of TLAFs, but with the December Night TLAFs corrected.
