Network Code Requirements for Generators - 19th of January 2012
In line with European practice for Network Codes (https://www.entsoe.eu/resources/network-codes/) EirGrid, on behalf of ENTSO-E, held an information and discussion session on the Network Code Requirements for Generators in advance of ENTSO-E’s public consultation on same on the 19th January 2012 in Dundalk The session was of particular relevance to all generators on the island.

All-Island Generator TUoS Consultation Indicatives 2011/12 and All-Island Generator TUoS Methodology - 22 June 2011
EirGrid and SONI, the Transmission System Operators for Ireland and Northern Ireland respectively, held a workshop in Dundalk on 22nd June 2011. This workshop discussed the All-Island Generator TUoS Consultation Indicatives 2011/12 and All-Island Generator TUoS Methodology which was published for consultation on 3rd June 2011. It was an opportunity for the System Operators to explain the methodology and to give the participants a greater understanding of the makeup of tariffs under the new all-island arrangements.

EirGrid TUoS Workshop - 18 May 2011
Generation Forum - 03 Februrary 2011
An All-Island Generator Forum organised by EirGrid and SONI took place in the Mount Conference Centre Belfast on the 3rd February 2011. Topics discussed at the forum included blackstart, EU Influence (the role and impact of ENTSO-e), Moyle, EWIC and intra-day trading, plant portfolio and unit cycling, wind - active power control challenges, transmission constraints and operational schedules.

Workshop on Offshore Studies and Programme for Secure Sustainable Power Systems - 27 January 2011
On Thursday 27th January EirGrid hosted a workshop on offshore electricity development including Offshore Grid Studies and Offshore and Interconnector Techno-economic studies. The workshop also included a presentation on the Isles Project and on our Programme for Secure Sustainable Power Systems.
