Gate 3 Liaison Group

As detailed in the Gate 3 direction, the CER has established a Gate 3 Liaison Group involving industry representatives. The aim of the Group is to provide a forum for discussion and communication with stakeholders regarding the progress of the Gate 3 offer program. The Group meetings, which are held monthly, are organised by the Commission and consist of representatives from the Commission, the System Operators and from the renewable and non-renewable generation sectors.

Aside from the actual delivery of the Gate 3 Project, EirGrid supports and actively engages in the work of the Gate 3 Liaison Group by providing monthly status reports (in conjunction with the DSO and CER), administering the Gate 3 project plan, and providing expertise to the Group in a number of related areas affecting Gate 3 applicants. Such items include constraints modelling, connection offer modification options, charging information, etc. EirGrid also presents issues to the Group which are raised by customers directly with EirGrid. Customers can raise issues for discussion at the Liaison Group either through EirGrid or through any of the other representatives listed in the Gate 3 Liaison Group Terms of Reference.

The CER have created a dedicated page on their website which contains further details of the Gate 3 offer program. Please see link below.

Approved meeting minutes of each Liaison Group meeting as well as additional relevant material presented at the meetings can be found on the CER website through the following link
